I have loved my Pearl Izumi cycling gear, so I was stoked to get the Pearl Izumi Infinity In-R-Cool Long Sleeve elite running layer in the office to test. With a soft hand, anatomically-placed mesh and a flashy design on the back, it’s got the goods. It’s further enhanced by PI’s In-R-Cool technology, which reacts with perspiration to cool the body’s surface temperature by up to 5%. This lightweight top gives coverage while keeping you cool.
The 8″ zipper with lock down and windflap and 2″ mock neck make a comfortable zip up. ELITE Transfer fabric interwoven with In-R-Cool body-cooling technology and the Direct Vent mesh panels on shoulders and sides for ventilation give you some added comfort while pushing yourself along the road, trail or wherever you might be running. An added bonus of UPF 50 + Sun Protection within the fabric makes you that much more protected.
Made of ELITE Transfer w/Ice-Fil: Body (100% Polyester), a rapid, moisture-transfer fabric with a technology that reacts with moisture to cool the body’s temperature and Mesh (92% Polyester/8% Elastane), a moisture-wicking, this thing has a breathable fabric that makes the complete wearing experience one of sheer joy.
Running at a modest $55, the In-R-Cool LS is a shirt to have ready. You can grab one at Pearl Izumi’s website or at your local runners shop.
