Inspired by Good Form Running and designed to be worn with or without socks. The New Balance Minimus Road running shoe is engineered for use on the pavement or other varied running surfaces. These bad boys are comfortable to say the least. The look is a retro kickback that captivates. The best part is they are extremely lightweight.
A Vibram® outsole provides maximum surface contact and multi-directional traction. They offer a thicker, more hearty sole than the Minimus Trail sole, but they’re lightweight and agile nonetheless. Lightweight blown rubber gives effective bounce to aid each movement. They have zero drop, so you get a true barefoot experience. Oder resistant. The Synthetic/Mesh upper provides lightweight comfort and support while also allowing for breathability. The Minimus make the overall experience far better than most barefoot class running shoes.
The comfort is great for running as well as casual wear. They’re durable enough for the punishment you dish out. The sole gives a bit more cushion/protection, which I like, so you can take off road onto some technical trails if you want. The upper provides comfortable protection and great air flow.
I would suggest grabbing a pair if you’re wanting a new road experience, or if you just want to have a comfortable shoe to walk, run or cruise with. Selling for $109.99, it’s comparable to other shoes in it’s class. You can pick them up at New Balance’s website. Enjoy and happy running.
