We here at Benosh were fortunate to get a nice gift from the wonderful folks at Innate. They sent over a Doppio Tumbler. As the say on their website: “Simple. Elegant. Functional. The Doppio is our response to requests from friends who wanted a compact double wall tumbler that could handle a couple of shots and enough steamed milk for a respectable wet cappuccino.”
For me personally, I do not drink coffee, nor cappuccino. My preferred use has been assisting me lower my intake of Iced Tea. Silly I know, but this moderate sized tumbler has brought my consumption down while making me look classy and trendy all at the same time.
The Doppio fits most vehicle cup holders, alas it won’t work well in your water bottle cage. Its compact shape is a great alternative to larger travel mugs. Double wall construction keeps the goods warm while you live la dolce vita. The press fit lid is perfect for warmth retention and keeping sloshing spills to a minimum.
The Doppio has a capacity of 200 ml/6.5 fl oz and weighs in at 130g/4.6 oz. Light, durable is a credible description for this very cool cup. I would suggest it for light commute travel and or office use for sure. The Doppio comes in three colors of Eggplant, Stainless or Midnight Blue. With a nominal cost of $9, for Benosh purposes, it’s a great kicker on the car ride to the bike or running/hiking trails in the early morning, or even use while camping.
