I am the king of casual. So needless to say I got excited when we got a pair of Birki’s Skippers in the office. The laid-back and somewhat athletic-inspired 3/4 slip-on provides something to suit nearly any individuals taste. The unique 3/4 slip-ons not only look good, but the cork footbed gives a solid, yet comfortable wearing experience.
They are great for just walking around the house or even wearing to the office. This past summer was brutally hot here in Oklahoma, so I took full advantage of wearing these guys, and I will admit I am hooked. The fit was nice and tight and held up nicely through all of the wear and tear I put them through. These are not for hiking, but would be great on a camp site. They’re not for running or cycling, but great to have in your car or at home for when you are finished with your workout.
The Skippers are available for purchase at Birki’s website and retail is $119.95. Now these are not cheap, but you know that we don’t recommend cheap gear, but gear that is a better investment. If you’re in the market for some slip-ons, then these are the ones for you.
